The Lodge at Black Creek
Whether meeting old friends or enjoying stories from the days hunt, our Georgia hunting lodge is ideal. The interior has rough-cut lumber that was milled from trees taken off the property during the last timber harvest. It is appointed with leather furniture, outdoor prints (many donated by our members) and antiques. With all the modern conveniences of home plus large screen satellite TV for watching your favorite team, heart pine floors, handmade dinning table from local artisan, fireplace and front porch complete with rocking chairs . You are sure to enjoy the peace-and-quite away the everyday stress of life. Numerous deer and turkey have been spotted from the lodge and many ducks and geese can be heard overhead. Downstairs there is a full kitchen, dining area, main living room , and two 1/2 baths plus a large front porch and back deck with grill.
Activities at Black Creek Plantation hunting lodge
- Located on the hunting lodge grounds outside you will find gas grills, fire ring, target range, electronic skeet throwers and a small stocked pond. 2 additional ponds are located on the property with largemouth bass up to 10 lb. are caught every year. Be sure to bring some fishing tackle. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms. Two have private baths with the other two bedrooms sharing a bath. Each bedroom has two beds, TV with streaming of all your sports team and shows and views overlooking prime deer, turkey and quail hunting habitat. The lodge offers overnight accommodations for up to 8 people with additional accommodations available at local hotels. Hope to see you soon. Georgia hospitality included.
