Georgia Duck Hunting

Things to Remember

  • All duck hunters MUST use Non-Toxic shot as required by the USFWS.
  • All duck hunters MUST have plugs in their guns. 3 shot max.
  • Hunters must use size 4 or larger shot to assure clean kills. Shells are available for purchase at the lodge before your hunt if you need them.
  • Hunters should be dressed in camo if possible and/or have waders. Face mask or paint is recommended. If you don’t have waders there are blinds that don’t require them. Please let us know as these are limited.
  • If your party needs a guide please let us know at the time of booking. The additional cost is $150/guide.
  • We are conveniently located in Central Georgia just 90 min. from Atlanta and 30 min. East of Macon. Lodging is available in our modern hunting lodge with all the amenities of home. Duck hunting can easily be combined with an afternoon of either quail hunting or wild hog hunting. Call your friends and make a weekend out of it!

More Blinds for 2021-22

We substantially increased the size of duck hunting property last year and have added more blinds this year.  In addition to wild ducks Black Creek will be free range over 1500 released mallards. These ducks are released onto the ponds at approximately 4 weeks of age in May and raised up to adulthood. By the opening of the Georgia duck hunting season these mallards have been free range feeding through our property for 4 months or more. These ducks are fully colored and act like wild birds.
All hunt packages are sold by the blind, 4 hunters max. Get your group to friends together and remember that we do normally book up by Thanksgiving of each season. Plan accordingly.

If you have any question please call, email or send us a text.  478-387-5650

Lodging is available for an added fee. Quail, pheasant and hog hunting can be added to the afternoon before or after your hunt.
